Hi everyone! I’m going to tell you about a thing we did in class called ‘Secret Santa’! 🙂 Secret Santa is where members of a group are randomly assigned a person to whom they have to give a gift to! It’s a bit hard to explain. 🙂 Last year we did it at school too! 😀 It’s a great way for people to give gifts to people! 🙂 Anyway, Secret Santa is really fun!
Hi everyone! 🙂 On Tuesday we had an Athletics Carnival at school! All the grades 3,4,5 and 6 were in it. Here’s the list of some of the activities we did!
re run, the 100 metre run, the egg and spoon race and the sack race. 😀 They were all really fun. We also had shot put, long jump, tug of war, hurdles, the obstacle course, the 400 metre run!
Did you have an Athletics Carnival recently? 😀
Hi everyone! 😀 This is a post about the sport I play, called Speed Ball!
Speed Ball is a ball sport played between 2 teams of 5 to 7 players. Unlike Netball, in Speed Ball, players have 4 steps and 4 seconds to get rid of the ball. If a player from the opponent team ‘tags’ the player with the ball, then that player holding the ball has only 2 steps and 2 seconds left. In Speed Ball, players can kick or pass the ball to otr players on their team. The goal of the game is to either throw or kick the ball into your opponents goal. Players get 1 point for their team if they throw the ball into the goal. Kicking the ball into the goal gets 2 points. The team with the most points by the end of the game wins! 😀 At school we normally use soft balls while playing Speed Ball.
Anyway, I think Speed Ball is a really fun game! Do you? 😀
Hi! This is Activity 5, Challenge 3, for the Student Blogging Challenge. 🙂
Activity 5 was to play a game called Digital Citizenship. After we finish playing it, we have to write a post telling our readers about Digital Citizenship – what you should do rather than what you shouldn’t do.
While playing Digital Citizenship, you should make sensible decisions, be really supportive and concentrate on what the characters are saying! 🙂 The game was fun and my score was 52/100! 😀
I’m going to do a post about the sport I play at school! 🙂
Every Friday afternoon, the Grades 5 and 6, at my school play a sport! I play one of my favourite sports, Netball!
The rules are kind of easy to remember but I sometimes forget the ‘No stepping while you have the ball’ rule. 🙂
There are seven positions:Wing Attack (WA), Wing Defence (WD), Center (C), Goal Shooter (GS), Goal Defence (GD), Goal Keeper (GK) & Goal Attack (GA).
My favourite positions are: WA & WD! 🙂
I think Netball is really fun, especially when I’m playing with friends!
Thanks for reading! 🙂 What’s your most and least favourite position in Netball? 🙂
